Target language Lexis

Problems: depressed, anxious, exhausted, stressed out, worried, annoyed, sad, angry, tired, afraid, lonely

Grammar

Present Perfect Con't means that the problem started before and continues now.

Affirmative statement using the present perfect continuous tense:

I’ve been having problems sleeping;

I’ve been feeling …

Yes/no questions using the present perfect continuous: Have you been feeling …?

Affirmative and negative short answers using present perfect continuous:

Yes, I have been;

No, I haven’t been.

Wh- questions using the present perfect continuous:

How long has this been happening?

Final task

Ss talk about a problem they – or a friend – have been having lately.

"I haven't  been so good lately." I haven't been feeling good lately.

"I have been feeling very well."

"I have been feeling excited lately. I have a family party in the weekend."  I have been feeling nervous lately, because I will be attending a family party this weekend.

"I have been so nervous lately." I have been feeling stressout/worried lately, because of something that happened at my job.

"I have been feeling pretty good lately."

"I have been feeling worried because of a stressful work day." I have been feeling worried because I have had a very stressful work day.

"I have been feeling worried, because my dog is very sick and I have to take him to the vet."

"I have been worrying about my headaches lately." I have been worrying about the migraines I have been experiencing lately.

"My grandmother is in the hospital and she is so very sick."

"I have been worried, because my dogs are sick."

"I have been stressed out & tired lately.
